Taco Bell's Crunchwrap Supreme recipe is a cross between their Tostado and a burrito supreme. But, of course, I had to go to Taco Bell to figure out what was inside and how they double-wrapped their creation. So I can proudly say my vegan crunchwrap supreme is way better.

When craving a crunchwrap supreme, I don't go to Taco Bell I stay home. Get a little crunch in your burrito by filling it with vegan goodness. Cook for a few minutes on each side until the outside is crunchy, and golden brown.Skip Taco Bell, and make your vegan version of this healthy vegan crunch wrap supreme at home. Place in a hot, well oiled skillet, seam side down. Fold in the edges of the tortilla toward the center. Grab another large tortilla, then begin to layer: Vegetable mix, cashew queso, crunchy stuff (either tostada or crunched up chips), sour cream (if desired), lettuce, and your homemade guac. Cut around the edge to cut out the smaller tortilla that you will use for layering. Using a round bowl, lay the bowl face down on top of the tortilla. CrunchWrap Assemble: Lay a large tortilla on a flat surface.

Once done, remove from heat and set aside. Coat evenly, stir, and cook for about 10 minutes. If you are cooking meat, you would also add it at this time. Add taco seasoning, salt, pepper, turmeric, cumin salsa. Add cauliflower, broccoli, bell pepper, black beans, green chiles, white onion, and garlic.

Did that stop me from eating copious amounts of the edible food that I did find? Sure didn’t!įinally something good came from my late night drunchies. Vegetarian options were difficult enough, vegan? You think I would have starved. Speaking of unhealthy, I spent the past week in Nashville where ‘healthy food’ was something incredibly unfamiliar. Taco Bell has an entire vegetarian menu, easily customizable to be vegan. Although these are healthier options, it’s well known fast food restaurants are not exactly the ‘pillar of health’. Today, I bring good news to those veggie lovers. The popular opinion of In-an-Out or Chick-Fil-A never interested me as their vegetarian options were slim to none. I will NEVER be persuaded to change my mind. Taco Bell will forever and always be my favorite fast food option.
